Blue Mist is a chemical developed by the military to act as sedatives to the infected. It is first seen being used by the Children of the Sun during the Harran Outbreak to give them immunity from the infected attacks. However, it even spawned a Sentient Volatile.
It was developed by Olivia's father and the Baron took the gas to develop into EF gas to lure and stimulate Chimeras.
