The Unit 404 is a unit of the Peacekeepers.

Biography

A unit of Peacekeepers made into heroes after they assisted in the evacuation of the remaining Nightrunners after the failed VNC Tower mission 10 years prior to the game's events. It is also implied their fame is due to continual bravery in missions after the tower rescue.

• The names of most of the members of Unit 404 are references to characters from other media franchises and movies, such as Resident Evil (Leon and Chris), Alien (Wierzbowski, Heecks and Hudson), Predator (Blain Cooper), Call of Duty (Simon Riley) and so on.
  • In Update 1.2 (March 9, 2022), the names of the squad members on their dog tags were changed: Trevor Wierzbowski became Trent, Leon Kennedy became Keenedy, Chris Redfield became Bluefield, and Dwayne Hicks became Heecks.
